What Is True Gratitude?
Gratitude is living life with a real understanding that you are doing just fine. Each one of us is living life where we FEEL like we are always playing from behind. When was the last time you thought about everything you have? About everyone who blesses your life or gives you energy? Reflecting on and tracking this is TRUE GRATITUDE.
Who Is Gratitude For?
For anyone who believes they are stuck, being thankful for what you have instead of focusing on all you don’t is a game-changer. Gratitude as a practice for the person looking for answers who can’t find any. Does this sound like you? Give it a try. Taking a step back to acknowledge all the things you have to be grateful for can be life-changing.
What is the Gratitude Process Like?
True Gratitude is different for everyone, but the core practices of gratitude share a common thread no matter who you are. Imagine a daily practice where, in less than a few minutes a day your energy goes from -10 to 100.
It's more than just a process, it's a habit and muscle you will build that will allow you to focus your life and to reach the highest goals you've set for yourself.
Each day becomes easier, better, and then GREAT! One day, you will find that you're a contagious ball of energy and beacon of hope to everyone around you.
1. Find your quiet place where no one can interrupt you
Building a muscle takes focus. Finding focus when we haven't had much practice takes time away from all distraction. Find your quiet, personal place alone from all of the noise (including your phone).
2. Breathe into the moment and feel what your body is telling you
Before you can really dig into what your mind is processing, listen to the most important person in your life - YOU.
Take a deep breath, meditate, close your eyes... Do whatever it takes for you to get into THIS MOMENT. It's the only moment that matters right now.
3. Read, Reflect, Read Again, Reflect some more
Read a meditation prompt. What does it mean to you? What does it mean to others around you? What do you want it to mean?
Reflect on it.
Read it again
Reflect some more.
4. Respond and write it down to connect your soul
Reflection is great, but writing it down is more powerful for you and for your mind. It makes your reflections feel tangible and makes the rest of your brain and body believe it.
Share with yourself what you're thankful for, and let yourself realize all you have built for yourself.
5. Go back to it on the rough days and read it over and over
Your True Gratitude takes hold when you review what you were thankful for yesterday, last week, last month, last year!
It is this habit that will get you through the toughest of times in your life and will keep you building your resilience muscle.

Find Your Balance. Set Your Goals. Take A Challenge. Reward Yourself.
Some days, you won’t be able to add anything and that’s okay. You can say no. Some days you can change things around to make it happen if you need to and, most importantly, want to. It’s your schedule! Taking charge of your goals and schedule makes you much less likely to burnout or get overwhelmed.
The best part about finding your balance and setting your goals is that you can reward yourself with doing the activities and spending time with the people that make you feel fulfilled and happy. You can spend your free time making yourself a priority!
