Oh my goodness! It was such a GREAT birthday week! Had I known life was supposed to be like this all the time, I would have made some pretty big changes many years ago.
The birthday celebrations started last Friday and finally ended today. WOW is honestly the only way to describe this past week. Normally, I would try and skate through my birthday and keep it under wraps. Not this year! Nope. I enjoyed the surprise visits (socially distanced of course) and my special guests.
I have THE best friends and family – thank you for your love and support. The best gift of all, was getting to spend time with them. I’ve never celebrated for a week before. I think we were making up for lost birthdays!
I have to say that despite the pandemic, this was my best birthday ever. Really! I thought last year was great… well, this year was even better! It sure is amazing to feel joy and love and to know how valued you are. I must admit I never gave much hope that I would ever feel this good. My only regret is that it took me so long to get here. But I’ve let that go, too, because I am here now, and that is all that matters.
This was a special one that I will never forget! Thank you to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. Each one meant a lot to me!
