Michelle Sukow's midlife moxie comes from having the freedom to do what makes her happy.

Can you believe it’s already September? I’m actually pretty excited, because this month, here and on social media, I’m going to be talking about my midlife moxie!

What’s midlife moxie? Well, for me, it’s the amazing courage and perseverance I’m experiencing at this point in my life. I’ve been through it all: the good, the bad, and the all-out-shitty. But you know what? I’ve come SO far, and I’ve learned SO much along the way. I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I love sharing where I am in life right now. I’m enjoying being 50, free, and single!

This month is about owning and celebrating where and who YOU are. The most important thing about this midlife moxie of mine is that I’m 100% me. I’m embracing 50 because I’m finally in a healthy place. I don’t have any drama, and I’ve removed many negative people from my circle. I’ve healed from a very toxic and abusive marriage.

I’ve discovered some spunk and sass in myself at this age and stage, and I’m all for it! I’m only interested in having positive things and people around me. And if something, or someone, isn’t good for me, I have no problem saying “See ya!” I’m making the most of my life, and I don’t have room for that shit.

Michelle's midlife moxie comes from choosing how she spends her time and energy at this stage in life.

And honestly, there are so many things to celebrate and appreciate right now. Between my businesses surviving and thriving through this pandemic, my amazing children and my beautiful grandson, and finding gratitude in everyday life, there are reasons everywhere to stop and say, “I love my life.”

Being at this midlife point, where so many people freak out about turning 50 (come on, you know someone who has!), I actually feel pretty amazing. There are so many different reasons for that, and I can’t wait to share the secrets behind my midlife moxie with you this month!

So, get ready, let’s have some fun these next few weeks! If you’re in a similar place in life and aren’t sure what you want out of it, I hope you’ll take away ideas and tips to help you feel empowered at this age, inspired to have fun, and maybe take some of the stress off your shoulders.

Here is a preview of what’s to come this month as we dive into midlife moxie!

  • Owning and celebrating where we’re at.
  • Creeping near midlife, and not sure what to think?
  • Why it’s the best time in my life, and how to make the most of it.
  • How I’m 50, free, and being me.

Live life on your terms,

Michelle
